On November 10, 2011, the Pennsylvania Utility Commission released proposed procedures aimed at enhancing the safety of Pennsylvania's natural gas distribution systems. The Commission will now begin receiving comments on the proposed pipeline replacement and performance plans as well as the new requirement for leak surveys during winter. The comment period will end on December 11, 2011.
