The SRBC announced on August 30, 2011 that 13 water withdrawal permits remain suspended due to low stream flow levels. Thirty-six permits were suspended by SRBC in mid-July, and 18 were restored in early August. All but two of the suspended permits are affiliated with natural gas production. More permits will be restored when the streams flow at protected levels for at least 48 hours.
