In a July 27, 2011 press release, the Susquehanna River Basin Commission announced it is now accepting public comment regarding the proposed regulatory revisions for natural gas drilling. The deadline for comments is August 23, 2011. The Commission also will hold public hearings on August 2 in Harrisburg, PA and on August 4 in Binghamton, NY.
