In a letter dated July 7, 2011, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has granted a five-year extension to Spectra Energy Transmission and NJR Steckman Ridge Company. The extension now gives the two companies until July 1, 2014 to complete construction on the $250 million gas storage facility in Bedford County, PA.
