EPA Releases Update on Hydraulic Fracturing Study


On December 21, 2012 EPA issued a progress report for its ongoing Study of the Potential Impacts of Hydraulic Fracturing on Drinking Water Resources. The update provides information and status of research projects, the agency’s approach, and framework for the final study expected to be released in 2014.
