Marcellus Shale Webinar Presented by Director of Agricultural Law Resource and Reference Center Now Available Online

On September 15, 2011, the Director of the Agricultural Law Resource and Reference Center, Ross H. Pifer, presented a webinar examining the legal developments, legislation, and regulations affecting Marcellus Shale. The goal of the session was to provide participants with "an overview of the legal landscape surrounding Marcellus Shale" by discussing legislation enacted by the Pennsylvania General Assembly; other considerations of the General Assembly and the U.S. Congress; municipal regulation of natural gas operations; and highlights of court opinions issued by state and federal courts in Pennsylvania.
