On September 6, 2011, the Delaware River Basin Commission announced that it has scheduled a special meeting for October 21, 2011, to consider the adoption of its proposed Natural Gas Development Regulations. The regulations were originally published in December of 2010 and aim to protect water resources during the construction and production of natural gas development projects in the region.
