NJ Governor Issues Fracking Moratorium

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has conditionally vetoed a bill that would permanently ban hydraulic fracturing in the state and issued a one year moratorium of the controversial drilling practice.  In a press release on August 25, 2011, the Governor cited the environmental concerns and possible economic benefits associated with fracking when justify the moratorium.
