EXCO Admits SEC Subpoena

In its 10-Q SEC filing on August 3, 2011, the Dallas-based EXCO Resources Inc., admitted that it has been subpoenaed by the SEC regarding its “proved developed producing shale gas wells and reserve estimates.” The filing also states that the investigation is part of a fact-finding inquiry and that a number of other producers have been subpoenaed as well. The subpoena is mentioned in Part II, Item 5 on Page 55 of the 10-Q.
