Under
Pennsylvania law, all operators of Marcellus Shale gas wells
are required to report well production information to the Pennsylvania Department
of Environmental Protection (DEP) on both February 15 and August 15 of each
year. 58 PA. STAT. § 601.212. The legislation further provides that these production
reports must be made publicly available through DEP’s Website.
