On July 24th, Governor Corbett issued an executive order asking the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to reform the environmental impact permit application process. The executive order requires the DEP to provide clear guidance and describe the permit application requirements, establish a predictable timeline, and calls for efficiency and swiftness in the application process.
