Columbus Township, PA Repeals Injection Well Ban

Columbus Township, Pennsylvania, has repealed a local ordinance that prohibited Marcellus shale drillers from dumping wastewater not generated within the township. Last month the Pennsylvania Independent Oil and Gas Association filed a federal lawsuit claiming the ordinance violated the Commerce Clause of the United States Constitution.
